VI

There are only not writers

And writers

Those who are naively content in their world

And those who cannot drain out

The meaningless cacophony

Swirling around us all

To see the world through a lens

Of verse and prose

Is to grapple directly with humanity's curse

That we will never know the universe

Through any eyes but our own
